COVID-19 New safety rules

EDUCATION, CULTURE, SPORT

  • Children in years 1-3 of primary school–remote learning from 9 to 29 November
  • Extension of remote learning for children in years 4-8 of primary and post-primary schools until 29 November
  • Remote learning for universities and secondary schools
  • Sports events without audience participation
  • The operation of swimming pools, aquaparks, gyms is suspended

SOCIAL LIFE

  • Cultural institutions (theatres, cinemas, museums, art galleries, community centres, music centres, etc.) will be closed until 29 November
  • Attendance at churches restricted to 1 person per 15 square metres until 29 November
  • Between 8h00 and 16h00, Monday to Friday, persons up to 16 years of age will have to be accompanied by an adult
  • Restriction of public gatherings to a maximum of 5 persons
  • Ban on meetings and events
  • Recommendation to restrict the mobility of persons 70+ (except in the case of commuting and meeting the necessary needs of daily life and exercising or participating in the exercise of religious worship including religious acts or rituals)

ECONOMY

  • Stores in indoor shopping centres will be closed (except those selling food, toiletries and cosmetics, medical and pharmaceutical supplies, DIY items, products for animals, press or offering services)
  • Other: shops below 100 square metres in size will be limited to 1 customer per 10 square metres, and those over 100 square metres to 1 customer per 15 square metres until 29 November
  • Hotels will only be open to those travelling for work purposes, until 29 November
  • Health resorts will be closed
  • Ban on restaurants and bars opening (except for takeaway and delivery)
  • Public transport vehicles may be boarded by a limited number of persons: 50% of the seating capacity, or 30% of the combined seating and standing capacity
